Important Update: Colorado Pricing Transparency Law (HB 25-1090)

Effective January 1st, 2026

Colorado has implemented a new statewide pricing transparency law House Bill 25-1090, which requires all service businesses to provide customers with a complete, accurate, and fully itemized estimate.

To protect our customers and remain compliant, ATLR will be adjusting how we provide prices over the phone and in person.

What This Means for ATLR Customers

No More Phone or in person quotes without inspecting the vehicle and giving fully itemized estimates, Starting January 1st, 2026

This new law requires us to disclose:

• The maximum total price of any repair/services
• All mandatory fees
• All required warranty or repair disclosures
• All factors that could affect the final cost:   Exception, Should additional required work or parts emerge, we will notify you and get approval.

Because this information cannot be accurately provided without inspecting the vehicle, ATLR will no longer offer pricing over the phone.

How the Updated Process Works

1. Vehicle Inspection

A trained technician examines your vehicle to identify the root cause of the concern and any other issue ATLR might find.

2. Full Written Estimate

Our Service Advisors prepare a legally compliant estimate including:

• Parts
• Labor
• Mandatory fees (capped at $45 shop supplies + $20 hazardous materials)
• Warranty terms
• Disclaimers
• Your maximum total price:   Exception, Should additional required work or parts emerge, we will notify you and get approval.

3. Digital Delivery

You receive the estimate by text or email for review and sign.

4. You Approve after all information is provided after looking over the vehicle.

No work begins until you approve the estimate.
