I can't tell you how good it feels to have a place that I feel treats me right and doesn't cause more problems for me. I personally have many cars and trucks because I own my own small business and have been taking them to lots of shops over the years and have left unhappy... finally I found Jessie.

I usually work on my cars myself, and I have avoided taking my cars to shops for any number of reasons. I like learning how things work, but I also have a hard time trusting mechanics after knowing how most of the industry is set up from the inside. However, some compounding circumstances forced me to look for a mechanic to replace my timing belt, along with a handful other related components, on my 4runner. I kept seeing Jesse's shop come up in different Toyota wrenching related forums, so I finally contacted him. It was a great decision! He was super friendly, very fast (timing belt kit done in around 3 hours), and priced competitively. He knows his Toyota's and it shows. I definitely don't hesitate recommending him and I am sure I will be back if I ever get stumped, or need an expert's help! I feel really good bringing him business and supporting a local guy. I was recommended to Jesse and Affordable Toyota and Lexus Repair by a good friend of mine (i.e. word of mouth). My best friend is the owner of a Toyota Tacoma truck and was loyal customer of Jesse's before he referred me to him. My best friend raved about how wonderful his customer experience has been with Jesse. This is saying a lot because my best friend is an electrical engineer, so he is very particular about things. If he was so pleased with Jesse's work, who wouldn't be? Also, I have to echo these same sentiments. I am the owner of a 1998 Toyota Camry CE with a manual transmission. It has some body defects, but overall the engine is still solid and it gets excellent gas mileage. I know that if I continue taking my car to Jesse at ATLR for both routine maintenance and major/minor repairs, I will be able to keep my Camry running for a while yet ... even though it is approaching the 200,000 mile mark on the odometer. Jesse seems to me to be the best Toyota mechanic I have ever met ... ANYWHERE. His business acumen and way with customers is also superior. You will not be let down at all if you take your Toyota or Lexus to him for the work on your vehicle. He is extremely knowledge, his prices are very affordable, and he usually gets the job done is a pretty timely manner. He also reviews everything that is wrong with your vehicle -- things he notices as he is performing a repair (i.e. extremely honest individual and professional mechanic). My experience has also been that he always tries to make it the most affordable deal for the customer, which means he's not going to suggest or fix anything that is not really that crucial at the time. Furthermore, I have taken my car to other places besides Jesse for other work ... only to find out later after talking with Jesse that it was probably not necessary ... and I probably got ripped off. I have felt stupid in certain instances for taking my car to other shops, when I could not only saved money ... but maybe even got a more accurate diagnosis ... by simply being patient enough to wait until Jesse could my Camry into his shop and take a look at it. He is a pretty busy mechanic as well, but this only because so many people feel so good about the service and work rendered to them and their vehicle by working strictly with Jesse. Jesse and ATLR -- rocks the house!

Jesse, the owner, is a top notch guy and his shop does great work - and like their name says... "affordable" too. I had to have my 97 4Runner's head gasket and ultimately engine replaced... they helped me out as much as they could to make sure I was happy and didn't spend any more $ than I had to. I'll be a customer for the life of my Toyota...which means for a long time to come!

Only place I have ever had an enjoyable mechanical shop experience.The owner and main mechanic, Jessie, is very competent, friendly, honest, quick and consistent. He's even picked me up from the bus stop one time when I was headed to pick up my truck. I highly recommend ATLR to every Toyota driver.

I can't say enough about ATLR. I have been looking for a decent local mechanic in the Denver area but just couldn't find anyone with Toyota repair experience and good ratings. I was about to take my vehicle to the Toyota dealer and pay a fortune to have work done on when I ran across ATLR's site. I read the google reviews which were all outstanding and emailed them to set something up. Jesse replied within the hour giving me a quote on the work requested. I was shocked at how much lower his prices were compared to Toyota and even other local repair shops. The work was completed within a day and he is quick to respond to my emails throughout the day. Jessie also texts!!! which is unheard of in the mechanic world :). The work is done with Toyota parts and by Jessie who has many years of experience working for Toyota and Lexus. I live in Lafayette and can tell you it's worth the 30 minute drive (or even paying a tow truck driver) to have my Toyota's serviced here. Simply put, ATLR provides a premium level service at low cost. Thank you.

I have a 2000 Toyota with 150K miles and it began to run poorly. I have had very little work done on this truck so I asked my buddies and they told me about Jesse, owner of this biz. He diagnosed and fixed the truck in a few hours and for a great price. I have several friends that tell me they also use him and have never been let down. If you have a Toyota or Lexus, this guy is wonderful and very reasonably priced, and he is also very nice.
